I purchased my vehicle at Ray Skillman Hyundai. I submitted an inquiry online to speak with someone and I was contacted almost immediately. Everyone was very nice and I was able to set up a test drive the same day. Everyone at the dealership was very polite and helpful. The sales process was a quite pushy after I told them I had another appointment that day to test drive another vehicle at another dealership. I think the process was drug out so that I wasn't able to make it back to the other dealership, but I didn't insist on leaving. Overall, purchasing my vehicle was a good experience, but when I reached out to the dealership afterwards I couldn't get a response. I didn't receive my title documents so I called the gentleman from Finance who gave me his card and said 'call me anytime' as well as emailing the sales rep that helped me initially. I had to drive from Westfield to Greenwood for Mike from Finance to tell me I just needed to go to the BMV and that they can look it all up. This was about a 2.5 hour waste of time that could have been relayed by returning a phone call or an email.
Ron Goode was great! I went during my lunch hour to look at a few cars, I was to the point on what I wanted and expected. Never pushing me to look at other vehicles. He was aware I only had 40 minutes as I was on my lunch hour. I was out of there within that time frame. Later that evening me and my husband went back to purchase my first brand new car. He was very knowledgeable, in what the car had to offer. I look forward to working with him in the future.
I had a very good experience with Skillman Ford. The salesman was veryprofessional, friendly and seemed to know what he was talking about. I have bought a few new vehicles in my lifetime and when I get ready for another new vehicle I would be proud to shop at Skillman Ford.
We went to Ray Skillman's to look for a newer vehicle. As soon as we got on the lot we met a very nice and helpful salesman. Rodney he listened to what we were interested in and started working to make things work for us. And we drove off the lot with a great buy and a alot of respect for this Dealership.
First let me say I dislike the whole car buying experience I guess that is why I do it rarely. BUT this wasn't bad. Ron Goode was very accommodating as was the entire staff. The terms we had come to agreement on the internet were honored.I would recommend this dealership on the car buying experience.I'm hope the service department is just as accommodating.
Derek Young and David June were excellent to work with. They answered all my questions efficiently along with giving me helpful suggestions. The Ford Fusion Hybrid (2014) I purchased is a joy to drive. This car has plenty of acceleration. I had no trouble merging on the interstate.The SYNC voice commands work well for changing radio stations, setting climate and navigation. (still learning all the commands) The "Driver Assist" gently nudges your steering wheel back between the white lines if you accidentally cross the white lines while driving. It also slows you down if you get close to a car. I cannot address the gas milage, since I am still on my first tank. :-)
